ok, my insurance is gonna go up anyways bc they are gonna know that i had a wreck bc i got a ticket for it. the ticket was for failure to control speed which you only get when you have a wreck. so my insurance is gonna go up just as much if i fix it as it would if they did. they already know i had a wreck so its already gonna go up. its not gonna go up for another 6 months anyways bc thats when it will be renewed.

Your insurance company will only raise your insurance for a accident if there is a claim on it.

A ticket will raise your insurance as well.

If you make a claim your insurance is going to go up even more then just for the ticket.

Your insurance company would have known you got into a accident regardless once there is a police report, which Im sure there was.

BUT if you dont make a claim, or the other guy doesnt make a claim against you, the accident wont matter.

I would get a real estimate to fix the car, meaning tell the guy your paying out of pocket and see what its going to cost otherwise you will pay a premium on your insurance for the next 40 months.

ya.. what he said, if ur insurance company doesnt have anything to do with it and no claims are made by either party wether they know about the accident or not, your premiums wont change

ok the estimate was 2335.91 not including fixing the electrical or transmission problems. that also doesnt include a new bumper bc the lady who did the estimate thinks that they might be able to fix mine.
