i did, i can get in there but when i get in there theres nothing i can do.

You may want to pay out of pocket considering your insurance will go up for 3 years 4 months.

Maybe have someone hold the hood release and then try lifting the hood, probably bent the catch so maybe you can get a screwdriver or something in there to try to move the release around a bit.

i tried to get in there with a screwdriver but it wont go between the hood and the latch. the hood is in the release position but the lever wont move enough to get the thing open. i took the bolt out of the latch mechanism but it didnt help, i also lost the bolt in the process so now i have to find that . i think that my full coverage will pay for towing so maybe i will have to do that. i thought about out of pocket but mines gonna be much more than my deductible and i dont know what his insurance is gonna say. he was in his work truck from ABC auto parts. i would love to cut it but i dont want to mess up with the insurance.

i know that. i guess i meant what his company is gonna do. they may not even do anything. it only put two small scratches in the plastic.

as far as the hood goes, check any shops around your area, and junk yards, aluminum is good, though I think your vert came with one stock, I know some did, which is where I got my nice light hood =)

I dont know, maybe since its company theyll try and sue you for putting the drivers life in danger or some ****.
