Its going I haven't time to take it apart yet, but I have orders all my gaskets and what not, plus I took the oportunity to purchase

FD corner seal springs. Hopefully I will get a lot more work done on Fri-Sun nights since I get off work way earlier.

I am concearned at how dirty the aux. ports were already though.

I'm about 90% sure you probably had one of the outer o-rings fall out of the groove as you were laying the plates down and pinched the O-ring. If you haven't started the engine you may be able to just get one o-ring and reuse everything. If the engine was started then the heat will cause the o-rings to expand and they are not supposed to be reused and they won't fit in the grooves anymore.

Question, when you were dropping the torsen bolts in the rear plate, did you have one that just didn't want to go in all the way? This happens some times with one or two even if nothings wrong, but usually if a o-ring drops out it will cover one of the torsen bolt holes and you'll know because the bolt will hit it and not want to go in all the way, but a gental tap will make it go in once is snaps the o-ring..

I didn't have the problems with the tension bolts I think. But I just spent the $150 and got another full gasket/o-ring set, I have the money to do it correctly so I think that I should.

I pinched an inner on the last rebuild I did, and it was a 10.00 teflon encapsulated one.
