Ouch. The car does look nice. So from over here it looks like it was worth it.

Haven't been able to drive it to much because it rains a lot in the winter here in Seattle, but I have done a few runs with up to half throttle. when the secondary injectors kick in and the engine gets a little turbo pressure, it feels like someone has hit the back of the seat with a baseball bat!! I can't wait to get some nice weather(and sort out a lot of little things in the car), so I can go somewhere and turn her loose! I've had a bunch of fast cars('67 427 Corvette, 409-425hp Chev, 325hp Ford rancharo, etc), but this is the first one that really scares me! Its only 1800lb and came from the factory with a 150hp corvair spyder engine. Now I've got at least 100 more hp and the same weight!

Where in NJ do you live. Years ago in a galaxy far, far away I used to live in Sparta(Lake Mohawk.)

hmm 89 GTU, 92k miles, headers, intake, hiflow cat, new engine & clutch @ 62k miles. i would sell my car for $4000 even though i spent way more than that with repairs, upgrades, etc.
