How Much Horsepower Am I Lookin At?

With the 5 and 6 ports removed, did you loose alot of lowed power, or is that something that everybody just says? Also, I thought that VDI was only on the 89 to 91 RX-7's? Also, are there anyother options that I can go with to get a little more power out of it? I am trying to get everything else done with the engine first so that when I send out my engine this summer to get rebuilt and ported, I will have everything else done and then I can tune it. Any input is appreciated.
