Noontime

OK heres the deal, i was trying to pop my hood open and it wouldnt go at first....so knowing me...i keep pulling. Until Yank latch frigen pulls right out.



Question 1: How do i open the hood?



Question 2: How do i fix it?

Not sure I understand what you're saying. If the latch "pulled right out" then why can't you open the hood?

i had that happen on my fb look undre the dash on the fire wall see if you can grab whats left of the cable hope that it broke after the fire wall if not take underbody engine cover off access through there and good luck

i've done this it really sucek when you have to pop the hood in the reain, i installed 2 new ones and the also broke, just reach your arm uo there and play around witht he hook till you feel a pop and VIOLA

Remove the underbelly pan and you'll have to reach up and fiddle with the latch from under the car, going through the front might work depending on how big your front mount core is, mine blocks off the entire area though so I had to go from uinderneath.

with my FMIC i can't even try to get an arm up there, i guess i'll have to fab something up

hahah yea it broke and i pulled out about 3 yards of cable lol....so i gotta fix this soon i guess....my cars going to the body shop anyway this week cuz my friend decideds to back up wihout looking....ill have pics of this soon
