You would think that the snorkel would actually do something otherwise mazda wouldn't have bothered to put it in there. If it was used to quieten the intake noise down they could have done it another way, so I think it must work in drawing in more and/or colder air to some degree.



I have to give credit to NoeVuh's intake box though. It looks great. It's a lot more professional than mine. Mine was a left over metal, slapped together in an hour or so type of operation! haha

On this one we actualy made a tab on the box so it would fit where that bolt is tightning down just to make sure th box would not wiggle.
