Hey, I noticed my O2 sensor is plugged in to... well... nothing. Or rather, it's actually plugged in, but there's no wire connected to the plug. Does anyone have a picture of the wire I'm looking for, or know a site that does? Or a diagram. Or something.

Essentially, what I have is this: Header+O2 Sensor+Wire+PlugA+PlugB+(nothing)

or

O2------------A+B(nothing)

So, theoretically, there is a wire hanging around in my engine bay somewhere. I just need to know what that wire is hanging from, and where that thing is located. If anyone can check their S4 NA (I have an 86, if it helps), I'd be appreciative. I'm not sure if S5 or Turbos would have the same locations and plugs, but if someone has one of those, I'd be happy for the help, too. Might as well start looking somewhere.

Thanks for any help I can get.

If you look under the UIM on the side where the injectors are, there should be a really thick wire that is probably very hard to bend, don't try to, these like to crack when they are old. It should be right there by the bell housing, the diagrams say it is green with a yellow stripe. Mine looks gray after all these years, but I'm just a guy, colors don't mean much to me. If that doesn't help, well, sorry I guess.
