Just brought a 89' Turbo II , and under hard acceleration, the handbrake(parking brake) light comes on, does anyone know why this is happening?

have you checked your brake fluid. happens to my car when my fluid is kinda low.

something bout those little things i have always liked.

 

my TII does that. you need to adjust the handle its too loose. when you hit boost pushes up handle just enough to trigger the light. there is one screw that holds the plastic case around it then an adjuster screw try tightening it

 

That ws happening to my vert, all i did was top off the brake fluid.
