i just bought a turbo 2 rx7 2nd gen and my rear end jolts and makes this klnking noise. also my add coolant sign beeps on and off after 15 minutes of driving anyone know about this.

1.maybe you need a new(er) lsd? TII lsd can be found on ebay easily for quite affordable. problem is the damn thing is heavy so expect to pay $$$ for shiping unless you find one within pickup distance.

2.make sure your coolant is up the the correct level and has no air in the cooling system or leaks anywhere. if you want to just get rid of the buzzing permanently just ground the sensor to a bolt on the rad. support.

of course just grounding support doesnt get to the root of the problem (if there IS one), many time the sensor may just go bad and need replacing if you wanna spend the 55 bucks.-

You might want to check the drive shaft, and make sure the U-joints aren't broken.

Jolt could be the front diff mount, the tranny mounts, or motor mounts. Most likely the front diff mount. I seriously doubt there's anything wrong with the diff itself.



Get the air out of your system.



I'm moving this to the 2nd gen section, you'll get better answers there.
