How do I tighten the throttle cable?Gas goes to the floor with ease.

What do u mean by goes to floor with ease ? do u mean it is really touchy or doesnt get your car to rev ?

That means your entire engine is bad. The gas pedal should not go completely down without at least 400 lbs of force. It shouldnt budge to anything less than the hardest kicks.



Honestly though, you can easily fix that. Just cut the throttle cable about 3 inches down from the throttle body and reattach the pieces together. It will make the cable tighter but it will also make the pedal a bit more stiff.

get the FSM (Factory service Manual) from FC3S.org.. it should explain how to adjust the height and maybe tension of the pedal..
