I am putting A/C back in my car. I gathered all the parts I need, I just need to install them. The only thing tricky is going to figure out how to get it to work with the haltech.

When I install the A/C, Ill take some pics and post them up on this thread.

Yea I would imagine it would be a nice feature in CA, I know it would suck without it here.

he's in AZ now......wussy with AC!

I though it was Tucson? Man you move around a lot.

It sure wasn't any fun reconditioning the AC system in my car, but it is certainly worth it on those scorching hot days.

Which refridgerant are you going to use?

CletusFD3S 06-01-2005 07:19 PM

yeah.... im sayign **** mine... ill more than likely reinstall it

Yah, Im in Tucson. Been here since December https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png I havent figured out which refridgerant to use. I know they are damned pricey. What did you end doing?

Rob x-7 06-01-2005 08:15 PM

doesnt the haltech have a connection for to kick up the idle a bit for AC?

Im hoping the wolf I have will let me keep mine, I dont want to get rid of it, Ill take the additional weight over sweating like a pig anyday

DJ Blu 06-01-2005 08:16 PM

i'm doing the rebuild now, and keep or get rid of ac was a big decision for me. If it works i'll be glad to have it, and i'm in NY. I couldn't imagine not having a/c in soCal or Arizona.

cymfc3s 06-01-2005 08:19 PM

Yah, its gets SUPER hot here. No way I can drive without A/C. Im actually going to do it right, use Aeroquip stainless steel hose and a/c fittings. Should look really really nice.

Rob x-7 06-01-2005 08:19 PM

sit in traffic in a black leather seat with the top down in 90 degree heat and 90% humidity and tell me you dont need AC!
