If you soak the wrap in water it makes it easier to wrap, stretches better, less itchy, if the fiberglass gets in your lungs it's pretty painful. I have been thinking about getting a bag for the turbo and wrapping the down pipe.

Throw the roll in a bucket and as you wrap it pull it out of the bucket.

the gloves idea is a GREAT tip!!!





i cant tell you how annoying the itch was when i wrapped my downpipe.





just enough to make the fiberglass wrap wet, it will absorbe as much as it could within a couple of seconds

well i got the headers wraped today, but i dident have enough!!!! its out of the engine bay tho. so im not to worried. heres some pics.

WOW that look so much better!! I thought about doing that to my Downpipe. After reading this thread I'm going to order some wrap as soon as I get paid.....
