8.5 on a S4 TII maybe.

Stock psi on a 89 to 91 (s5) tii is 8.2. I run 0.60 kg/cm^2 boost on my car.

No fuel cut. that is 8.63 psig

i somtimes run 0.63 kg/cm^2 which is 9 psi and no fuel cut.

well, after driving through the hill country and back (150 miles), i must say, this exhaust is the best ever.

it sounds SOOO mean above 5K, and at readline with my turbo screaming boost at 10 psi, i almost wet my pants. i feel like the king of the road. the best thing, this exhaust has nice suttle power, opens up real well, and NO RICE. i love it.

only problems: i'm have the availble donuts and hangers, just missing the metal parts that attach to the car chassis. as a result, my left muffler hangs a little low and the presilencer and y-pipe are each missing an attachment. oh well, good for now until i hit up a junk yard.

also, IS IT JUST MY SETUP, OR IS MY WHOLE EXHAUST SUPPOSED TO BE LOW TO THE GROUND? on my car, it's what has the lowest clearance, mainly the y-pipe/muffler interface. oh well, i'll just have to watch for speed bumps. it looks mean from behind, though.

add on a ball and spring manual boost controller set at 9-10 psi. it will make a HUGE diff on low end power. since now you are slowing creeping from 5-10 instead of hitting 10 right away.

also probably time for a fuel pump

this one looks pretty cool, but for another hundred i could get the GReddy manual controller.

won't quickly boosting up to 10 psi hurt my engine or turbo. i mean, if it was that easy to reduce turbo lag, why didn't mazda already use on?

Dude..Forget that TurboXS and GReddy crap. Pretty much all MBC's are the same in the end. I got a JoeP MBC XZ from http://www.boostcontroller.com for $40 and it works great.

Boost controllers dont change your lag..They just change when the wastegate opens. Youre not actually boosting to 10..Youre actually creeping there. You need to port your wastegate. It will only get worse with cold weather.

Yes boosting to 10psi will decrease turbo life, but so will a lot of things. Id rather have some fun at 10psi than let my turbo piddle along at 5. Hell, I run my car at 15psi
