were your apex seals goopy too afterwards? just not with hylomar?

It was goopy all over the place, I was so damn excited.. I could have sworn the house wasn't white on that side before I built that engine..

I like rubbing stuff with vasoline. It makes me tingling all over..oops this isn't the rubber-romper-room is it?

Yea I wouldn't worry about it. After I put my engine together I could see some hylomar on the Apex seals and rotor. Some of the hylomar squished out after assembley and after turning the engine a few times it picked it up. The engine started right up though and I now have around 5000 miles on it :bigthumg:
