Exhaust Question
I have an automatic. Yeah i knoe that sucks. ima convert it by this summer to manual for a hefty price of $125 with labor (my freind will do it he has 20+ years xperience). Now i am debating over the racing beat headers or the Cat replacement pipe and presilencer. Racing Beats claims they both give the same power gain. Which one will be better. I dont want to sound too loud since there willbe no cats. Ive also decided to get the RB exhaust cause it sounds nice. So when i change the tranny im not going to have a problem installling any of those two setups right, since i obviously will by it for a manual car, even though automatic was its original format? lol. thanks guys

For starters, it won't make a difference that you convert the car to a manual...the exhaust will fit. Secondly, I doubt that you would get the same power from a cat replacement setup(which I used to have) then headers. The headers replace the manifold and precats as where the downpipe & presilencer setup does not. If you go with the Racing Beat headers, a test pipe, and then the RB catback, you'll probably get the best results. The RB catback is also quiet enough to run headers without being obnoxiously loud.
