Yeah, I know it has problems I've seen quite a few posts (around the internet) that deal with this topic. I just haven't had the time to spend a couple hours on the net searching for and writing down the info. I think it's a tuning issue... I need to go over all the sensors and stuff verifying voltages and operation. I'm pretty sure my cats are goners with the car running this rich and I'm equally sure that that doesn't help matters any!

step one is to make sure the 02 sensor works, without it it runs 10:1afr, with it it will run a lot leaner under cruising.

step 2 is to drive it where the ecu uses the 02 sensor, between 1500-3400rpm with light load, over 1psi and it stop using the 02.

step 3 is to make sure you dont have any problems, like vacuum leaks etc

over at atkins rotary, when they add a supercharger to a 13B, they regulary get 27mpg from the setups along with the increase in power.

its one of two things

1. the engine makes more power so you dont have to push the pedal as hard

2. theres more air going thru it, so its leaner

I checked my mileage on the 800 mile trip to SevenStock 5 and back and came up with a whopping 17 mpg. That's not too bad considering I cruised at about 90 for the whole trip and a *lot* more than that in some spots.

thats too good to be true, supercharger would seem to be one of the best upgrades in a way, but i know it would still get blown away by a mildly upgraded turbo2 (stock turbo2? perhaps, i dont know) or 3rd gen but a good upgrade if it gets 27 mpg!
