I was just curious as to what gas mileage to expect, the car I'm getting should put down a little less than 300whp.

to many vairables.. I think more info would be nice, and even then, it also depends on driving style and the condition of your engine and components..

Really I was just looking for people to post what kinda mileage they were getting in their cars.

The car I'm hopefully getting (87 Turbo II) has a large street port, hi flow cat, custom intake, upgraded injectors, light weight flywheel, metal TID, and a r/b downpipe (prolly)

Oh yeah, engine is newly rebuilt (around 200 miles). And actually I was hoping to get an idea of what kinda gas mileage I would get when pushing it hard and when cruising.

I get a average of 20, you will probably get 10-14, worse

when you boost alot.

12 mpg. I **** you not. This was cruising @ 65 mph on the highway.

Course, my O2 sensor wasn't hooked up and the car isn't tuned.

Last year I made 17 mpg usually cruising @ 75 mph. Base tuned Power FC with a working O2 sensor.

If you care about gas mileage don't buy an RX-7. Especially a modified one.

If that car doesn't have an aftermarket ECU get one before you waste the engine.

Not worried about gas, just was curious.

I seem to get 20 no matter what I do, traffic with the A/C on

once I got something like 24-26, cant remember exactly, but that

was all highway. I of course have no turbo, so therefore I suck anyhow.

The highest I ever got on my TII was around 25. On the highway, I average 23, and in town I get 17. That's not bad at all, IMO.
