Fuel Rail Question On N/a
#14
The Primary and Sec fuel rails are joined. The same fuel runs through both of them. Yes that is the SEC (TOP) rail which is pretty easy to get to. Yes against the firewall. It probably looks very different because it's in my Suzuki.
NOS provides a TAP and you drill the BANJO bolt, tap it and screw in the right angle fitting which connects the FUEL line to the soleniod.
It's not as bad as it sounds. Just make sure the motor is cool, and you have a rag ready when you remove the bolt. Also caution... there could be 35 PSI of fuel in that rail.

I did depressurise the fuel system, and now I cant seem to get pressure back on it. Turns out Summit sent me the wrong kit, I ordered a dry kit for a n/a, they sent me a wet kit for a turbo. So I dont have the tap and one more little fitting, I had to go to a fuel shop here in town and bought the right fittings. Thanks dac, if this doenst work out, I will tap the banjo fitting, that would look better anyway.

The main components should be the same. (Although if it is a dry system you'll be missing the fuel soleniod and hoses and your NOS nozzles won't have the fuel inlet on them.)
If you let the motor SIT... It should depressurize itself. Maybe that is leaking injectors. I have a fuel pressure gauge on my fuel rail and after a couple of hours.. my 35 PSI is gone. I assumed it was going back into the tank.
Before I replaced my injectors it would do this in just 5 minutes. Now it takes much much longer.

about the cops...at least in the state on VA. My friend recently got pulled over for "exhaust noise" in his prelude. He had a NOS system installed in his car. Becuase of suspection of illegal substances they searched his car and found the bottle in the trunk. You are aloud to have a BOTTLE in your car but to have it hooked up will get you a fine. As for my friend he managed to get illegal exhaust, possesion of marijuana, possesion of alcohol under the age of 21, NOS, and a dead inspection all in one night. HA! thats what happens when you drive a honda
