Does anyone know where the primary fuel rail is located, and if so, do the n/a's have a test point? If it is where I think it is, underneath the sec. fuel rail and under the manifold, I am screwed. I have to have access to a test point or I am going to have to remove it altogether.

thanks,

Sadly, yes it is under the UIM, I'm confused by test point though???

Well, heres the deal, I have to have a place to connect my fuel solenoid to the primary fuel rail. I have a NOS kit designed for my 88 n/a 7, and that is what the instructions recommend to do. I know it has to be on the primary side, but why can I not intercept the line before it reaches the rail. I guess I will have to call NOS tommorrow. Other than that, my system is in.

This is the only place I could mount the bottle and amazingly enough, I can still open the hatch doors.

Better hope any cops don't see that! You might be able to connect it by the oil filter before it gets to the rail, but that may not be the same, hopefully you won't have to take the UIM off, I've had to do it 3 times in the past week, it's no fun; but i can take it all apart in about 10 minutes now

For some reason I am thinking that you were putting NOS on one of yours. Maybe on you Turbo. Or am I thinking of someone else. I did call the Tulsa Police and the Oklahoma Highway patrol, there is nothing on the books regarding NOS. They both told just to not blow myself up. hahah, anyway, I was told that I could not be cited for having the bottle in the car.

Your right i am putting NOS on mine but, I don't have a Turbo, It's the 79 in my avatar. I've heard that around here in MO that they can give you like a $20 ticket if they see it hooked up, so mines hiding in the hatch way back on the passenger side in the corner, under the carpet; between the tint the roll cage and more tint you can't see it with the door open even

Cool, I would like to see that.

Cool, let us know how it works out for you, why the hell didn't I get nitro when i was n/a??????

You tap the bolt on the BANJO bolt on the end of the fuel rail. That then runs to your soleniod.

Is NOS illegal in MO? I never heard that a cop could give you a ticket for using NOS.

I do know you won't be able to run at your local strip without a NHRA approved safety relief vavle vented to the outside of the car.

I saw a guy's bottle pop last summer. Pretty cool, vented the whole bottle.

This is the best pic I could find of mine:

That's the Fuel feed at the backside of the SEC fuel rail. The rails join via a common hose and then are fed back to the tank via the regulator at the front of the SEC fuel rail.
