sweet, actually i was advised to retard my base timing a little if i'm gonna run 15psi on the reprogrammed ecu

I bought mine from RX7.com with the terminated hardness. Prices are on their website. I think it was $1300. They threw in a Base RX7 map, but it was for SHI*T. I ended up getting a couple of maps from other people and using them as BASE maps to get mine running.



I like all the features the Haltech offers. My motor is a N/A but now I have an easy option to go with a Turbo JSpec motor.



The reason I did the ECU swap was I did a motor swap and the factory harness was way to brittle to try to make the Factory ECU work.

I thought about going with a standalone on the 91 coupe to "prepare" me for my next setup. If I go with a Haltech maybe I'll steal a map from you.

That would probably be better than a 20 degree advance.

i was hitting 15psi in 5th gear with the timing set wrong. who knows could have been at 20+ advance. this was the first blown coolant seal jspec . the new jspec i got runs damn good!

if i decide of using a haltech E6k on a 91 TII,what about the electronic oil meter. pump?

well that sounds like a total pain in the ***. but then again, what isnt with these horrible things?

ah with the premix do you just run 2 cycle oil in there? how much?
