fuel filter tips...
#1
1. change it, mine was the factory one...
2. if you unplug the "circuit opening" relay it turns the fuel pump off, so start the car, and unplug it, there is still some fuel in the filter and lines, but not much. the relay is bolted to the pedal cluster on the right side of the steering column.
3. change the in tank sock too. i pulled mine out and it looks like a relic from the titanic, sock was covered in rusty crap.
4. disconnect the positive battery cable, it actually runs right next to the filter, and it is possible to hit your tools on the battery cable and set the car on fire.
so have fun!
