If it is a P-port, it would also have an intake manifold with throttle body, intake plenum, and I wouldn't have a p-port unless I had some hardened stationary gears, higher oil pressure, and upgraded rotor bearings.

You gotta be able to hit that 12K rpm once and a while

Microtech all the way for the ecu.

Can't really say much about the fuel since I get 3 mpg except fuel pressure is your friend.

ok the recipt says.. $3,360 and there is another paper withthe perifial port motor on it for 3600.. but the page came from www.mazdacomp.com/rotaryengines.htm

so i reqally have no damn clue.. i paid 4500 for the car from some lady that had no clue what she had.. she had a 93 twin turbo with a new motor and a bad turbo and traded it for this car. b/c she wanted something to drive.. then she desided that this car made a "noise" she dident like (the external wastegate). and that the sparco racing seats were not comfortable.. shes a moron.. and her husband just died of bran cancer.. so she just wanted rid of "the hassel".. but keep me up with the info.. id ask the kid that built it all but hes in florida in flight school..

Does your motor look like this, minus the 3 rotor part....

This is a P-port...

don'tbe running a David Atkins engine hard, cause it won't last,i've torn down a couple of his engines, and i'mnot impressed, these where low mile rebiuldsout of third gens, one of them had only 50 miles on it,the oil control rinsg were shot used bearings etc.it was not pretty.it is nota peripheral Port because you can't turbo a P-Port,tomuch overlap,a p-port's RPM band is from 7-10,000,a turbo motor doesn't need all the RPM,he probably did a streetport.if i were you i would do a compressionn test.you take it when the engine is at operating temp, because Rotaries loose compresssion when they are at temp, make sureit isn't any lower than 80 psi.
