I suppose a 12 lbs flywheel is reasonable. The reduced driveability can be a bitch but at times I love it.

Drove my TII for a year with a 9.5# flywheel. I never had any drivability issues with it. In fact I had a better 60' time w/ the 9.5# flywheel then I do now with a stock FD flywheel.
I loved the way my car would wind out 1st and 2nd when I was autocrossing. It is a very worthwhile mod. I want another 9.5# for my car now.

also if you acceltorate in first or second, and then let off the gas (with it still in gear) you can get a bucking motion in the car which realy makes it tough to cruise in
