Just curious....what would it sound like? Probably horrible. I know just 1 (and only one) made my V-6 truck sound like a built V-8. Has N E 1 put Flows on a rotary engine? My car is already louder than the ricers that drive around. That's stock exhaust with a bored cat! I was just wondering if they would give me that deep throaty sound.

It would probably burn out within a month, Rotary exhuast temps are much higher than piston engines. All exhaust should be SS. I have heard typical v8 exhaust on an Rx7 it sounded good, a lot deeper.

The Flowmaster section of my Summit Import Catalogue says "Not For Rotary Engine Use"

packing.

Blowmasters don't have any packing. All they have is metal fins that deflect the exhaust flow. Thats how all the rustangs get the nasty hollow sound.

I think they sound good on piston engines

I have had them on my Jeep for like 6 years now.

Flowmasters don't flow well at all. The racing beat exhaust makes a nice sound. It's pretty deep especially at idle.

I know they're not "glass-packed", so they would work fine?

I think they dont recommend them for rotory use because

Flowmasters are chambered, dont think all that heat is a good idea

in a chambered muffler.

If they dont recommend them, just get something else

they arent recommending them for a reason.
