Hey guys, time to replace my s5 alternator. Might as well go s6.

I thought I saw someone that sells the S6 alternator kit to install in a FC. I don't have time to fabricate, need to make this drop and play.

If someone knows, please point me to the right direction.

On an S5 it's a bolt-on, just change the alternator pulley

agreed. Go buy a FD alternator. THe FC pulley won't work quite right. The centre bore of the pulley is smaller and you need to space out that pulley. I'm not sure where you can get a pulley that works on a real FD alternator. The rotorshaped FD alternator pulley for FCs doesn't work on alternators purchased from the mazda dealerships. I made my own pulley on the lathe.

The pulley that GReddy supplies w/ their FD T78 kit doesn't work, it needs to be spaced just a little bit further out.

You could also go with a gilmer belt system...that should work just fine.

Those only fit the silverrotor alternators. They don't fit FD alternators you buy from Mazda Dealerships. The pulley bottoms against the casing on the mazda dealership alternators when you tigthen the nut down.
