I have my 88 SE that has an auto tranny (IT BLEW UP) can I get the engine from the se to put it into the 86 sport that i think has a bad engine? Would it be to dificult a swap or is it bolt in? I was checking the car sunday and I noticed that after i cleaned up the spark plugs with some sand paper and I put them back in and i cranked the engine a bit I took them out again and they had some light brownish **** on them WTF could that be? It was like very lillte bit. BTW: the car carnks but dosent start. Refer to the other topic for more details.

Only possible difference will be the injector impedence:depending on the build date of the 88
