Hey man, where are you at in KY? It has been cold as **** here with a bit of snow too. Not like FL I bet. I used to hate KY but it has grown on me in the last few years... Even though we are last in the country as far as old people having teeth. It's not much on dental hygiene but man it sure is pretty here

I live about 25 minutes north of you off the "dry ridge" exit.

Ky isn't a terrible place to be, but in the winters it's BORING AS HELL. It sucks here because if you want to own an rx7 and don't want it to rust to pieces, you have to get a winter car. And winter cars are usually boring as hell to.

I'MM BAAAACCCKKK WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

stopped in and saw my car and it's coming great. I have to run some pieces over to my mechanic today just to finish her up and I plan on taking some pics while I'm there. She sounds sweet. Turbo spins at idle, and by just revving to 3k out of gear it's making good boost. Should be a quick spooling setup.

Pics soon!!!

Drove my car up and down the street today, and it boosts great. Runs rich as a pig tho considering the map I'm using is for smaller injectors. It will be good enough to get me to a dyno tho. Kindof throws you back in 1st. The boost only got up to 5 lbs so I think I can attibute that to the 9lb flywheel. This car is going to be a hoot!!!

piston killer: You can get a j-spec turbo block/turbo for pretty cheap and a microtech is a good computer for that setup.

I've heard of people turbocharging n/a blocks, and I believe it can be done, but your going to need an aftermarket ecu and will need to tune it very well at low boost to get the reliabilty/safty of a turbo block.

well to turbo an na you dont HAVE to use an aftermarket ecu. You could get by with a piggyback and retard the timing. Its not the best way to go but could be done. I dont want to get this off topic so ill just leave it at that.

Sounds like you got the reducer you needed. Honestly I think this car will be a 12 second car even though he is building it to be more of a corner turner.

Nice job good to see its making smoke. Hmmmm.... I am picking up my car at Pettits this week maybe we should take yours down when we pick mine up and throw it on the dyno?

PICS!! I wast to see your FMIC!!!!

i know I'm such a goofball, I was soo concerned with getting all the parts over there, that i totally forgot my camera TWICE!!!

the ducting looks great, and the fmic is almost a perfect fit, and it doesn't even block my oil cooler. I think im gonna go wack off for a while.
