electrical problem

when i hit the brakes, the radio goes out. and then comes back on. also someting is killing my battery. checked all the normal areas nothing fits. any suggestions?

every time you touch the brakes or just when braking hard? a loose ground will cut in and out and draw more amperage from the battery if it's having to arc across. I wouldn't know for sure though without chasing some wires behind the dash........

Have you tested your alternator?

yes , and it passed all test. last night, i was coming home from work and i got to a stop light and the volts gauge went from 14 down to 8. when i got home i pull all fuses except for the ones that kept the car running and replaced thenm one by one testing to see what asessories would cause the biggest drop. nothing happened. any imput on this?

Check the belt and tension on your alt...
