I was wondering if it was that hard to make a downpipe for my Turbo 2. If I were to have my friend make it, what kind of piping should I use? How thick? I really want a downpipe not just for better boost response and more power, but also to get all that heat out from the engine bay. If it is pretty hard, where do they sell good quality cheap 3 inch downpipes? Also, while I'm at it, should I get a hi flow cat from Random Tech or Bonez?

Mazdatrix makes a 3" DP and a 3" MP. So does Corksport. And I think HKS makes a 3" DP and MP. And I'd go with a Bonez cat or just use a pre-silencer.

down pipes are cheap like $100, don't waste your time trying to make one.
