So tonight I go to get into my car and the driver door will not open. I think the lock might have broke and is holding the door shut...nothing happens when the switch is moved up and down. Has anyone else ever had this problem, and how can I fix it. Probably won't have a chance to take the door apart until monday. Any suggestions??

the door handles are common to break, i think you have to replace it, meaning no easy fix...

Can you get in from the otherside and open the door with the inside handle?

Maybe the linkage popped off or something.. Either way you will have to tear the panel apart (and possibly pull the window out) and check everything over..
