Alright, the throttle is behaving really irratic, I mean, holy ****, I start it up, it starts at 1k and climbs to 3.5k, usually I rev it and it comes down to 1k-750ish. I realize cold start, but, it revs to 3.5k and then does little jumps of 50rpms or so, just enough to twinge the needle.

So, if ANYONE sees anything else that can go, or any obvious problems, then let me know....

Major concern is sticking, throttle is getting stuck open at odd RPMs stuck at 1100 sometimes stuck at 4-6k. And it doesnt matter if I drive nice or hard, sticking.. and I cant figure it out for the life of me. I might get a new throttle cable, I dont know what to do..

I had a similar problem when i would rev it out to around redline a couple of times or just keep it above 6 for a little bit it would stick above 1,000. I tried different things but what seemed to help the best was just taking cleaner and cleaning it out, i don't know if gunk was stuck on the butterflies or what, but now i don't have that problem.

I didnt have a ground on my UIM, I had one on the top of my engine.

Where would there have been a ground on the UIM? And I was under the impression you only ground the engine block not the manifolds.

as for what you can remove.

I had a similar problem when I did the TB mod, there is a lobe on one of those rods that can get stuck, follow the above directions and take off everything that you dont want to keep. (thermowax?)

Hey, that was useful! I didnt remove my fast idle cam. That solves maybe 1 problem I really cant tell since my car refuses to start and idle at the moment. But I think its useful info.
