personally i think my four piston calipers with a rebuild, hawk HP pads, and cross drilled and slotted rotors has plenty "knock ur fillings out of your teeth" stopping power, and its def less than a big brake kit
what are the actual performance benefits of having cross-drilled and slotted rotors? I've heard conflicting information.

FD rotors and Skyline Type M calipers will suposedly bolt right up to the FC, but good luck finding the Typm M calipers.

Now does anyone make a 13" brake kit for the FD that doesn't cost over 2k...
or you can just plop fd calipers on the stock rotors.

just remember that going to big brakes, you will only see an improvment in two areas. One is if you have really good tires, you can only brake as hard as the available traction, kinda like you can make all the power you want but you have to be able to lay it down. The second part is the fade, even with upgraded pads and rotors, do 5 stops in a row from 100 and see what happens on FC brakes. If you are out on a road course you don't want to have to worry about your brakes fading out after a couple laps.

Here's a news flash...the FC already has amazing brakes.
I threw a set of Hawks on my FC it stops on a dime. The brakes are strong enough to lock up my 10" wide Hoosier Slicks. On open track days I see zero brake fade.

Save your money unless you want them for the bling factor.
