Different Port On Stock Turbo

If I increase the diameter of the exhast housing where the turbine almost smacks, will this help me limit my boost level?



Im thinking 2mm increase in diameter (1mm all around).



Maybe I should go 2mm??

so your saying instead of making the turbine wheel smaller (clipping), making the housing bigger right there?

i dont see why it wouldn't work

exactly.



Spare the cost of shipping the cartidge out and having it trimmed and balanced.



I can take the housing and shave the guts out right here at work in about 10 minutes.

go for it, if its a s4 housing and it doesnt work its not a big deal anyways
