Well that's no good... Wonder why it blew... Mebbe just old and corroded... I unno

Yeah , my dad seems to think the fuel press reg is dying... I don't know though, I'm leaning more towards a very well hidden vacuum leak, dirty primaries, and my lack of know-how to work on this thing LOL

But I seriously don't know what I need to do next. Tps won't calibrate 100% right every time I try to get it to idle at-all, dad and I tried adjusting the cas ... Didn't help, wd-40 wouldn't help find a vacuum leak...so...I don't know what the hell's going on now... Guess it's all going to be trial and error then LOL. I'll start with the fps and move to the other sensors, I guess.

SUCCESS!! I found a leak!!! its on the back side of the throttle body where the throttle cable connects! wd-40 makes it kinda chill-out while either makes it rev about 1k above the (still kinda rough) idle...

now, I just need to do a once-over on everything else... when it idles, its very rough...talking about when wd mellows it out...just strikes me as a little odd...

and I need a new TPS...it runs the car and adjusts alright...but the diag. leds are both lit unless under acceleration.

resistance is close, but not quite...miss the mark both... top to right prong, its like 4k out 2.4k in top to left like 4k in to 2k out now Im trying to remember these...I wrote them down somewhere lol think they're out in the car.

guess Im going to grab a can of wd from work tomorrow lol. I finished my little can looking for leaks...lmao

I know Im bring this back from the dead, but I finally pulled the motor because Im finally working steady again. pulled the intake off and that nuclear-reactor of an exhaust manifold off and spun the motor by hand to see what I was afraid of... the rear rotor exh. port was BLACK...not oil black, but like carbon/soot black... front is kinda tan from running lean. front rotor has BEAUTIFUL apex seals that are just as shiny as could be...the back...gnarled-up.

looks like its time for a rebuild and maybe new rear internals......who knows...Ill keep y'all updated and try to get pics too
