Starting to get the cooling fan light coming on at times. What actually makes this light come on...Temp....amps......airflow? The fan is making a high pitched noise at times but seems to be running. The coolant is running a little hot as well...about 2/3rds of the way up the dumby temp guage.

I think it comes on when the aux. fan comes. well at least supposed to. My 88 I could tell be the batt meter if it was running. or you can here it front of the car it is running!

 

That may be it. The whole engine seems a little hot.... but it is summer here in FLA and it is hot outside anyway.
