Has any one replaced the stock fans with aftermarket upgraded ones ? , if so how much was it , what type , specs . etc.

I may have to replace mine since the blades were damaged on one and I am expecting to generate a lot of heat soon.

Although I have no experience with aftermarket fans, I've read that the OEM fans are very good, high flowing, fans and that there is no need for aftermarket ones.

yeah... I would agree that replacing the stock fans with aftermarket fans would have not benefit. My experience with aftermarket electric fans has not been good. Stay factory. They are more reliable and plenty strong enough.

use the stock fan motors with two stock 4 blade fans . Toss the 5 bladed fan, a new 4 blade fan is about $ 34 from the dealer .Garfinkle has done this several times with out hearing the harmonic thumping that the 4-5 blade is to stop .Two 4 blades flow more air than 4-5 blade set up .

Garfinkle this..Garfinkle that.

I suggest upgrading the radiator before spending money on fans.

I bought a used 4 bladed fan. Haven't installed yet, but I hear alot of autox and road race guy use this trick to move more air through the radiator.
