Coolant Flow direction thru Radiator
#1
Hey Guys,
Please do not confuse this with cooloant flow direction thru the water pump and engine. This is strictly in the radiator.
I'm in the middle of installing a custom Vmount setup.
The radiaotor will be leaning back, way back, almost horizontal. Meaning from stock location, the top of the radiator will be by the pulley while the bottom part by the bumper.
The best way to route the piping would be to attach the top of the radiator to the inlet to the water pump (lower half) and route the bottom of the radiator to the outlet of the water pump (thermostant side)
If I try to make it work like stock it would be a mess of piping, way too many bends.
Does any see any issues with air bubble forming? I will be running a air seperator tank right after the thermostat and it will be the highest point in the system.
THanks
Carlos

IMO you should try to set the radiator with a little more angle so that there is no possibility for air bubbles. The air separator tank at the highest spot will help a lot though you should be fine.
