Ok.. today me and my boy were performing the conversion. and i dropped the trans, drive shaft everything. loosened the engine mounts... but when we looked at the wiring to the NA. and my JSPEC engine its a lil different. the Jspec has 4 clips for vacuum hoses. the NA has 5. 3 colors match, 2 dont. i know that japan has lower emissions than US. does anyone know how to overcome this prob?

Slightly different but not to much. It doens't have the wires for knock control and soem othe rstuff. YOu better get yourself a TII harness and the sensors for it or go haltech

THe color clips for the vacumm hose is the least of the problem to worry about, that's no big deal.

Yea, get a T2 harness or haltech, using the NA harness will only lead to problems, lol...

...not to sound like an ***, but have you properly researched this conversion?

I'll be more then happy to help as I have done this twice now, lol(as far as pulling an Na motor and putting a T2 motor in...twice)...

Lol, mine WAS running with the Jspec as far as having all the wiring harness going, I even drove the car on one rotor for about a week, lol. However, I have not yet started my new motor. In theory I should have mine running again before revvin

I just need oil lines, which have been on backorder now for a lil while, I'm gonna contact the company shortly to check on there status. If they get here soon, the car will be up and running by mid to late march...and ready for track use by april.
