That hood would give my car a 30 lbs difference. Not too bad.

from steel to carbon is a large diff, but if you already have the aluminum? there are plenty of other things most people can do for cheaper that will have more gains.

fastrotaries:

I don't care what you do with your money

most of my statements are sarcastic.... I could eaisly afford the hood, but I don't think it's that difficult to find an Al hood for alot less $$... and I don't really like the way carbon fiber looks unless it's perfect, if it's not perfect it looks like **** without painting it.... and looking at the pics the hood isnt that great.

To each their own. I guess the 787B was one big pile of rice since it was just about all carbon fiber.

The pics don't show how good the hoods look, especially the N/A one. The TII one shown is the prototype one, like I said to begin with. The production ones won't look like that. (just for anyone who still can't read the whole thread) They look far better than just about all of the honduh hoods out there. There is alot of rice around here being one of the biggest street racing ciities in the nation, and an FC with a cf hood is not rice.

So everyone go buy your battery now and mount it inside your car to better distribute weight. LOL I mean, talking about apples and oranges. CF hoods and batteries? And if you have all that bling bling, we can do a custom one off hood and bag it or autoclave it I am sure. The guy does alot of high dollar work and could surely do your perfect hood if your pockets are that deep.

Some people are just never happy. You don't like it, I don't care :bigthumg: I have one and I like it. I am buying another one for my other car. I use a stock battery :bigok:
