My friend drove my car to get something at his house and on his way back he said he stopped at a light and the car died. I was worried so i got someone to replace me at work and began tearing up the bastard. Well actually just the whole intake assembly. Well what i've found is that when i shove the AFM in more then it idles fine. But if i let it be (hang by itself) then it'll close and shuts out the air and dies. I have an S5 so its the gate style meter. Anything you guys can think that plagues my car?

 

Sounds like the plug might be bad.
