hi all my brother got a 84 rx7 (1st gen) with a 12A. The acceleretion is better that my sec gen with a 13B. ??? I try to find where is the difference and I thing he have a blower (something that push air in the motor with a belt on the eccentric shaft). I would like to know if i can install something like that on my 13B ??

The 1st gens have a nice power to weight ratio.

Camden Superchargers has a kit for your car. But you have to go carbed to use it.

Also, check out this thread.

yeah i read it right after i post mine !!!

I had forced the air actuator(suppose to work with vaccuum) to stay open all the time (because the automatic system if broken). Should i see a difference on the power of the motor ??

What is the best mod should i do to see a difference in the acceleration ( please don't tell me buy a turbo kit).

I am not positive, but thought I heard somewhere that the 1st gens have slightly lower gearing which would help off the line.

I thought they had 2mm.

I think the GSL-SE tranny has slightly better gearing. Just go with 4.3 in the rear end.

The first gen engines, 12a and 13b came stock with 3mm. Second gens and later have the 2mm apex.

Yes that's right, gsl-se have a different transmision ratios from 1 thru 2nd (not sure about 3rd gear) which helps the car accelerate faster.
