No need for a line lock on a STOCK/NEAR STOCK STREET car.

pro draggers use them cause its easier to warm up their slicks.

In 1994 I purchased a gen 1 with a new motor in it.

I took her out to the airport run way on a sunday after I had gotten used to it and wnated to see what she would do. I was well aware of the damaged that is caused by dropping the hammer on a tranny even if it takes it. So I just revvedher up to her powerband, around 4500 to 5000 RPM's, and let the clutch out just alittle fater than I normally would. With the higher RPM, she lit up the rear tires, well not liking to take any motor to its redline, (especially given it was my commuter) I kept shifting from 1st to 2nd and so on , and so on, until 5th gear had arrived, fianlly around 5500 RPM's in 5th gear the rear end started to wheel hop on me. So I layed off, fished around alittle and then rolled to a stop.

If Your gonna play make sure its in a safe place folks. My new project will have a 200HP 13B with a porsche 911 5speed tranny, in a 1600 lbs car. So it should be alot of fun!
