well after trying to find replacement bulbs by the known companies i go on ebay and it seems the 9003 bulb is the same as h4. looks like i'm buying new lights from phins!

Yea, i got the Hella replacement housings/bulbs from the nopistons online store, and am very happy with them, just using the bulbs that came with the housings. definately a nice improvement over stock sealed-beam.

I know the http://eurolights.com take the h4 bulb, dunno how the quality is compared to the namebrands like hella, but might be worth a look into.
I just got these in from the shop I work with, and are absolutely garbage. The initial fit is just trash--the body of the bulb is too thick, so the metal shroud barely BARELY screws in. I am returning them for the Hella ones today. I guess you get what you pay for. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif The instructions even say that for proper fitment you should grind away any metal that interferes with the bulb housing. Avoid avoid. -M |
