Looks good. When I did mine, I took the easy route, and just hit it with a wire wheel.

Yeah, I used a wire wheel and then shot it with a high temp clear coat. It took maybe 15 minutes with the clear coat and it looks pretty nice too.

when you say wire wheel, are you refering to the wheels on a buffer?

On grinders sometimes they have a wheel with wires instead of the grinding rock thing. You can also get them for drills. I used a pneumatic rotary tool with a wire brush about an inch in diameter to get the areas that would normally be hard to get with the bigger wire wheels.

Well, I have a wire wheel in my bench grinder, 2 diff. styles for my drill (one cup, one wheel), and 2 diff. styles for my rotary tool (one cup, one wheel).
