How much smoke does the atf trick produce? I want to do it, but I have no place to leave my car for 24 hours that's far enough from people.

Also, when doing it, is there any limit to how long you leave it setting for?

just make sure its started up outside, it will only smoke like a bitch for about 5 minutes if that, then it will clear up and just puff smoke out for a while.

I dont think there is a limit but I dont think there is any benefit from long term either.

You'll see why people have had the fire department called most likely if done around a neighborhood.

you only need a little tiny bit of atf, if you dump in more than a capful people 15miles away will think your house is on fire, and all the mosquitos will die in colorado

I went overkill personally. I hand cranked the engine over while squirting a little in after every "whoosh" for about 12 times per rotor.

Good thing I chose to do this the evening of 9/10/2001 and started it in the morning

I did 1 CAPFULL per combustion chamber and that was OVERKILL. It would barely even run. I did it at night to be nice to my neighbors... But it was BAD.

i recommend MMO rather than ATF due to the much higher detergent level... (kills more carbon) plus it smells like peppermint when your car is smoking

not to mention MMO is meant to go in combustion chambers and be

burned, I always thought it smelled a bit like marshmellows though?
