apex seals
#31
I drove my car approximately one mile with a blown apex seal on the rear rotor. I had to scale a couple of small hills and I almost didn't make it. Just to move it around I had to rev it up to at least 6 grand to produce enough power. If an Apex seal is bad I doubt the car would do over 40 mph on a completely flat surface.

My little darlin' gave me 70 miles an hour with 3 blown seals on the rear rotor for 30 miles. Then she gave another 12 miles at 45 mph up and down backroads (stop signs?---we don't need no stinkin stop signs!!!!!)Barely made it up the hills and then couldn't make it up the driveway. Damn the luck
Ferget about tryin to start it again. Oh well I wanted a new ported engine anyhoo and she deserves it for gettin me home!!!!!
The moral is that blowing an apex seal is sort of like having an orgasm......If you've had one, you just know it!!!! :bigok:
