i've found CAS the gear munged up a bit making some noise in the past.

That motor when it last ran I swear to you it sounded like an old big block carbed V8. Why I dunno, but I didn't hear chatter. I have a pic of that housing if you want to see.

Thats how my old motor sounded, it had cracked apex seals, missing a chunk on each rotor..
