Well i just finished the engine mounts for my 13 B Re drop and i've hit a wall, i'm going to order a intercooler core and fabricate the end tanks, do you guys know if i can go any bigger than an 18X9X3 i know the 9X3 will work but i'm wondering if i can go bigger than 18 inches wide? without having to do any modifications. Thanks

Look at my post abut my FMIC setup. Its a 24x12x3. It fits really nice. I do believe that for anything around this size, you need to start hacking away at a few things. I had to cut up my bumper, threw the bumper support away, cut a few odds and ends here and there, then it fit with some encouraging

If you need any help or have any questions, AIM me or PM me.

Good luck

It would depend on your endtank setup really...

since your doing custom endtanks..go as big as you want..just be sure you have room to make the pipes bend into the IC..

I've seen a 26" wide core before on an FC, but thats the longest..Anything in this area will involve cutting the bumper/etc...but thats a trade-off for the cooling. Even the kits you buy require cutting the bumper...

Isn't there a point when it gets too big?

Depends on the amount of boost your running.. If you want to run like 6 or 7 lbs then that intercooler is overkill.

Althought I'm sure someone will argue that you can't get a cold enough air charge at the cost of lag.
