wow just wrote a long *** post but hit the worng button on the mouse and it deleted so here goes the short version. i rear ended a explored today leaving it unscared but my 88 TII got fucked up hoods pushed way back and every thing from the back of the lights forward is destoyed. the car still runs tho radiator isnt leaking and intercooler is pushed in a little but i dont think its craked or anything b/c while the car was still running it showed no signs of a vac leak. so basically should i just take out what i need to get the 91 TII running and buy a shell and swap all the s4 **** in there or should i try to fix the 88? i think it would be cheaper to just buy a nice shell or one w/ a blown motor any one else

You can get a good shell usually for a couple hundred bux in great shape with a popped engine.

Brilliant!!!

I am sorry for your loss.

Now is the perfect time to buy my TII Porsche!

Sorry to hear about your accident. Glad you are okay.

I think it would be better/easier to swap your running gear into a good shell instead of fixing the old one. The closer you stay to the same year the easier the swap.

Saw this on another forum. May be worth a look.

^^^ dude tyvm for all ur help. damn local p/u only to far for me. any way today i had off of work and pulled the exhaust and any thing Else to get the 91 TII i have running. that when really well considering it started right up after sitting for at least a year or too the idle and drive noise from the exhaust is a little rasspy but I'm sure once i start driving it it will straiten out other then that and a vac leak somewhere car drives fine. will tune it up tommorrow after work. also between running back and forth between both cars i have the 88 just about ready to pull out just have to drain the fluids and disconnect the oil cooler hose and radiator hose and shes ready to come out found no penetration through either the i/c or radiator so that saved me a lot of money. basically just looking for a shell still. i found an rx3 sp on ebay tho for a very good price and definitely wouldn't mind putting my drive train in that but still am stuck on the fence trying to figure out what i wanna do any way ill keep u guys posted on what happens and if u see a nice shell for sale let me know thanx
